The Artist . .

Some of my earliest memories are of drawing and painting and my Mum knew that a well stocked pile of paper and an assortment of art materials would keep me entertained and out of mischief for hours.

Growing up in Cornwall, I enjoyed an idyllic childhood, close to the coast and surrounded by Nature. After college, I escaped to the Greek islands for three years before enjoying successful careers in both retail (Jo Malone, London) and marketing (The Lost Gardens of Heligan).

In 2022, I finally took the plunge and dived into being my creative self full time. Mainly working from my home studio, I create art inspired by Nature and colour, allowing myself to paint 'in the flow' of my inspiration, intuition and energy.

Layers of paint and medium are built up and taken away in a cycle of colour and exploration. Finally, after 'losing myself' for hours/days, the painting reveals itself and I know that my task is complete.

Happy, fulfilled and often surprised at the final result myself, I hope you too find a piece of art that 'speaks' to you and uplifts your soul.
